Early Years Careers at The Butterfly Preschool

We are always looking for enthusiastic and experienced Preschool & Nursery Managers, Teachers & Teaching Assistants to join our team. Our term time settings are in Clapham & Wimbledon and we work with children aged between 2-5 years old. Our team plan activities in line with EYFS and Montessori curriculum, implement creative methods of teaching, complete reports and observations, ensure health and safety standards are met, all while following our policies and procedures. • 8:00am - 5:00pm / 6pm Monday - Friday        (Clapham, full time, term time only)
• 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday & 8am - 2pm Friday        (Wimbledon, full time, term time only)
• Salary: £35,000.00 - £38,000 per annum (dependant on experience & Hours worked)
• Early Years Teaching Professional Qualification or Diploma of Higher Education (required)

Managers must have:

• Previous Managerial Experience for at least one year in a preschool or nursery setting
• Lead the team on a daily basis 
• You will need to have good computer skills to write up reports, planning and put daily observations up on Tapestry.
• You will also interact with parents and update them on their child’s progress.
•  Candidates must be highly motivated and enthusiastic.
• Enhanced DBS will be required for this job and full references.
• Lead, motivate and support the preschool team, fostering a positive, collaborative and professional working environment.
• Manage recruitment, induction, staff training, supervision, performance reviews and professional development.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels, deployment and staff-to-child ratios are maintained at all times.
• Promote high standards of professional conduct, teamwork and accountability.
• Manage staff rotas, attendance, absence cover and day-to-day staffing requirements.
• Provide effective leadership, guidance and mentoring to support staff performance and career development.

• 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday & 8am - 2pm Friday        (Wimbledon, full time, term time only)
• Salary: £25,000.00 - £27,500 per annum (dependant on experience & hours worked)
• NVQ level 3 in  childcare or higher & Diploma of Higher Education (required)

Teachers must have:

• You will need to have good computer skills to write up reports, planning and put daily observations up on Tapestry.
• The room is a pack away each day so you must be fit and health to carry out this task.
• You will also interact with parents and update them on their child’s progress.
•  Candidates must be highly motivated and enthusiastic.
• Enhanced DBS will be required for this job and full references.
