Wimbledon Montessori
The nursery was established in 1998 as a Montessori School. It was taken over by Mrs Charlotte in 2018, remaining a Montessori school.
Mrs Charlotte has modernised and grown the nursery school, operating in the main church building and the church hall, taking over what was the Compton Nursery. It feeds the key schools in the local area such as Wimbledon High School, Putney High School, Wimbledon Prepatory School (Squirrels), Willington Prep & Bishop Gilpin.
Mrs Charlotte is a qualified teacher and with her team of qualified Montessori practioners, they run a successful, traditional preschool.

The preschool is a 5 mornings a week or 3-5 afternoons sign-up for children who have just turned 2 years old. This allows us as teachers to give the best possible start for your child as well as provide a consistent education throughout the week. Furthermore, it gets the children ready for school in their fifth year.
All preschool children will get a smock and school bag when starting the school

Montessori is a method of education that is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play. In Montessori classrooms children make creative choices in their learning, while the classroom and the teacher offer age-appropriate activities to guide the process.
The nursery curriculum also includes the government Early Years Foundation Stage, all our children will reach their early learning goals by the time they leave us.

Registration
If you would like to register your child for a preschool please complete the registration form and pay a non refundable registration fee of £100.00. On confirmation of a place, a deposit of £1,000 is payable. One full terms written notice of withdrawal must be given or one terms fees will be payable in lieu of notice.
For a show-round of the preschool please call or email the nursery and a date can be booked in. We also hold Open Days once a term, you can register for the next open day on the top bar of the website.
